My extremely favorite part about this delicious peanut butter lasagna dessert is that there is no baking required to make it! Yeah you read it right? (perfect for a summer time dessert hein ?! ) it is a multi-tiered dessert, the first layer is a crunchy,chocolate OREO-cookie crust, on top of that a fluffy peanut butter filling that is so so smooth and then a rich chocolaty pudding and the last layer is a sweet whipped topping.
The chocolate and peanut butter mix is really one of the most pleasing flavor that you would ever taste.
It is surely one of the recipe you would decide to make for special gathering with friends or family or an office potluck because it super easy to make and it worth sharing !
The bottom layer of this lush and delectable treat is a crunchy no-bake Oreo cookie crust but you can use any other flavor of sandwich cookies, it will work perfectly in this recipe. then use the food processor to get quite well-made crumbs but if don’t have it, you still can put the Oreo cookies in a zip-lock baggie and crush them with the bottom of a saucepan.Once done you’ll want to put them in a pan and press then using the bottom of a cup (or a pan )as firmly as possible and then pop it in the refrigerator.
For the chocolate pudding you’ll need two packages of chocolate pudding mix ( 4 servings size ). In order to make the pudding layer a little bit more chunky you’re going to add a bit less milk than the box instructions tell.
Pop it in the refrigerator for at least three hours, and overnight is best, it gives all those layers to set up nicely and it makes it a lot easier to slice, because when you wanna slice it, you want people to see the three distinct layers
you can add the toppings just before serving to keep the chocolate sauce from soaking into the whipped topping.
This is a very good dessert, it has the cream cheese layer, it is nice and light if you are serving a big meal and it is just really good, it’s got peanut butter, what’s more can you want ? 😉
